2020 Goals
Ahh…2020. It is a new year, plus, a start to a new decade. In 2019, I decided to focus more on my practice and more on myself, however, life happened. The holidays were a very hectic time and I found myself trying to just get six to seven hours of sleep. In January, I told myself that I need to make a change. I need to practice what I preach. A special shout out to the girls in the photo below for organizing a fun night to discuss our vision and goals for 2020. We did a lot of sharing and manifesting. After the fun night, I buckled down and decided that i needed to add more details and steps to my plan. My goals are a work in progress, such as myself.
I want to thank everyone who has been in my life to influence who I am today along with the people who deal with me on a daily basis, keep me accountable and inspire me to grow.
10 Year Goal: 47 Years Old
Professional: From 6-7AM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays I teach yoga. When I’m not teaching, Im an executive in a position that allows me to blend my two loves: sustainability and communications. I’m able to work from home most of the time and will go into the office as needed. Most of my days are spent connecting with the community. I’m able to work on projects that promote local agriculture, clean energy and transportation. I lead a small team providing strong leadership and professionally mentor them to reach their goals.
Health: I want to sweat a minimum one hour per day. My ideal would be to bring myself to the mat three times a week.
5 Year Goal: 42 Years Old
Professional: I’m teaching yoga four days a week - class size range from one-on-one to five to ten students. I have received my 500 RYT certificate and have a strong understanding of human anatomy. After I teach my morning classes, I’m a community and communications manager working at a firm that focuses on local agriculture, clean energy and transportation. I’m proud of the work I do and have a six figure salary.
Health: I work out a minimum one hour per day, every day. My workouts would range from yoga/running and swimming.

Personal: I want to focus on quality versus quality in all aspects of my life. To be closer to a handful of good girlfriends and to spend time with family.
Professional: At the moment I’m working at a boutique IT consulting firm that has so much potential yet they are in a growth period. I would like to help them grow by offering my expertise in operations and communications.
Health: Cooking 3-4 times a week will be my goal this year. To work on making simple meals using local ingredients. I will keep working on my core and strength training 3-4 times a week and plan to stretch 3 times a week.
