Kauai Electric Vehicle Ride + Drive
Before I dive into the details, I would like to give you some context about my background. When I am not teaching yoga, I work at an impact investment firm. The company is working to improve the quality of life for Hawaii in four key areas: locally produced food; clean, renewable energy; and better management of water and waste. The company’s mission aligns and resonates with my personal goals and values.
On Saturday, I attended The Kauai EV ride and drive event at Kauai Community College. I was there to help promote the event online and share what was going on for those who were unable to make it. It was great to see so many people interested in the electric bikes and electric cars! My favorite moment was when Lauren from Blue Planet Foundation was riding the electric bike. Her excitement was electric and after she came back from her test ride - a lined formed to check out the e-bike. I put together a quick one-minute video recapping the highlights from the event.
This year, one of my personal goals is to improve on story telling. While it may not be perfect or professional, many of my videographer friends have said the only way you will get better is by trying, get feedback, and try again.
