5 Days Working Out – Day 1

Okay – most of you all know that I love working out and at one time, I was very consistent about sweating for an hour everyday. Then life happened and I got busy with work, spent time with friends and the list goes on. There have been a lot of positive shifts that have happened and 2016 is really looking up. One change that has allowed me to start this challenge is that I started a new position at Ulupono Initiative. My schedule starts a little later which gives me the opportunity to get back on track and work out in the AM. Morning work outs to me are the best because you set the tone of your day. Get the workout done, feel fresh and energized!

So today is was my first day – and most say usually the hardest. It felt so good to put on my running shoes and break a sweat. I ran and then biked a bit totaling 45 minutes. Not too bad to me. I want to ease back into things. Tomorrow I plan on lifting weights focusing on my arms and core. Wish me luck!
