As part of my 8 week challenge I am logging my food on My Fitness Pal and blogging more about the workouts and food I eat. It is week 2 and I have lost a pound and lost 1% body fat. My biggest weakness is processed sugar – from cookies, ice cream, and more. Today I tried to eat more fruits to get my sugar fill in and added oats to make it a “real meal”.
- 1 Cup of rolled oats
- 1 Cup of hot water
- 4 Figs (seasonal favorite)
- 1/4 Cup of blueberries
- 18 grams of lilikoi (another seasonal favorite)
1. Add oatmeal and hot water and stir to your desired consistency.
2. Then combine all fruits in the oatmeal and stir.
