90 Day Challenge: Day 1 Part 2

Today is day 100 of my 90 day challenge. I do not think I have failed nor succeeded, I am going back on it and making it my “Part 2”. I have made some progress going from 117lbs to 112 lbs. I know I could not have done it without my Certified Personal Trainer, Angie Lee. I have decided to really pour more dedication in my training, and especially dieting. The holiday season has officially started and I feel like since I have the right mind set- I might not pig out as much as I did last year.

Angie told me that “Statistically, most Americans gain about 2 pounds per year (something like that).”

It is unreal! My training and dieting is not to be skinnier or more fit than Jessica Alba (although that would be nice) but rather to prevent myself from hereditary illnesses or other possible diseases such as diabetes etc. I’m on a mission!  I will be a better and fitter Jenn BEFORE 2011!!

Yesterday I went grocery shopping with Angie and we were looking at fruits and trying to examine how to buy the right fruits, the ones with the most nutrition and value. Pears have a lot of great qualities, per USAPears.com: “Pears have been recognized as one of the 20 most popular fruits by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and it’s no wonder why! They are an excellent source of fiber and a good source of vitamin C for only 100 calories per serving. And, they’re sodium free, fat-free, and cholesterol free.  That’s a lot of nutrition in one sweet and juicy package!”

    5 pounds thats pretty good. my goal is try to get back to around 185 i didnt realize how outta shape i gotten over the years

    I think I’m on the same page as well. I’ve been maintaining weight, but I haven’t been doing enough.. If only WRS didn’t always have so much delicious snacks all the time.
